About Suresh Doki

Suresh Doki is a seasoned IT and financial professional with over thirty years of experience. He now works as an independent contractor, advising clients on acquisitions and mergers and authoring projects in various computer languages, demonstrating his excellent coding abilities. His resume includes experience working for both the federal government and privately held businesses.

Suresh Doki graduated from Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, India, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. After graduation, he continued his education, receiving a master’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts, majoring in Computer Science. D He was drawn to IT management and quickly rose to the position of Systems Administrator at WPI. Writing programs using C, csh, and ksh to build experimental prototypes and administration of the Sun, DEC, and HP machines at the computer labs were some of his responsibilities in that role.

Suresh Doki spent many years as a contractor perfecting his profession and expanding his skill set. He relocated to New Jersey to work as a contract Systems Programmer for AT&T Bell Laboratories. He was in charge of creating proprietary systems and database applications in C, Sybase, and Oracle programming languages. He built a medical thesaurus database in Sybase and used it in medical report retrieval methods to enable diagnostic search capabilities. Suresh also contributed to the project’s user manual.

When he worked as a contract software developer at Bellcore, he was instrumental in developing various phases of a program’s lifetime. He used C/C++ and Perl to write the code for the Integrated Service Control Point (ISCP), IBM’s System Management Interface Tool (SMIT) for the user interface, and Perl and ksh to write deployment scripts for the (ISCP).

Suresh spent his time as a programmer analyst for MCI Metro, working with designers, developers, and testers on the Metro Trouble Management system and the Network and Service Provisioning System rollout. Suresh had a similar experience with Visa Interactive when he began advising for the home banking business. He spent most of his time dividing his time between several departments to bring the Transaction Processing System and Internal Support to life. Suresh also wrote several tools in C, Perl, and ksh to help the system-testing department automate its testing process.

The Dulles Technology Corridor, located near Washington Dulles Air Base in Northern Virginia, is home to many defense and technology companies. Suresh Doki has taken the post of President of Cambridge Technologies, a district-based IT Professional Services firm. He increased sales and marketing operations by 200 percent in this capacity. Suresh explored future markets and pushed the firm in an IT staffing path, increasing its development strategy and managing the sales and marketing teams as CEO of Cambridge Systems, a Services and Solutions company in The Silicon Valley of the East. He also developed a government practice and a new line of services for the healthcare industry and new product acquisition and procuring support for the federal government. Suresh maintained his successful staffing initiatives in the healthcare and life sciences areas as the Vice President of Business Development for Goldbelt Raven, LLC, an Alaskan Native Corporation.
